The Barn is an excellent centre. Sissinghurst is only five miles away. Within easy driving distance are twenty National Trust properties such as Chartwell, Knole, Kipling's home, Batemans, Scotney Castle.

Other famous sites are Leeds Castle, Great Dixter and Penshurst. Tunbridge Wells is twenty minutes away by car, Canterbury within easy reach.

The North and South Kent coasts and the Sussex Coast with their many attractions are an easy excursion. The beautiful High Weald area is at our door, London, The Channel ports and the Channel Tunnel are within easy reach.
